I inherited some mid-century kitchen containers from my mother. She always used an old red plastic spoon which she must have taken from a coffee can or something because I remember it as a kid. Anyway, I used it to scoop coffee and broke it. It's a bit silly but I felt guilty lol. I needed a replacement and this wonderful little spoon proved to be an excellent choice. It's not cheap at all. good weight Very soft. I like things that seem to last forever. It's one of those things.
