Great Monitor - Massive screen real estate

This is a really good monitor. It was very easy to set up and use with the MacBook Pro. The curved effect was ok. It creates a holographic feel that I can't say is better than not curved, just different. My main problem was that the monitor seemed too big. A 34 inch monitor is a lot to sit very close to. Also, when watching movies or Apple TV, the curved screen stretches the picture unnaturally, and if you leave the picture as is, there are big black bars on the sides. I use the monitor partly for my computer and partly for entertainment on my Apple TV. I prefer a quality non-curved monitor in the 27-inch range that doesn't have black bars or image stretching. 34 inches was just too big. All to say that this is a really good quality monitor with excellent picture quality, a large footprint and an easy monitor to set up. If you prefer large curved monitors, you can't go wrong.
