Update - 4 months after the original I almost dropped it a star after it started to get spirited. It's working for me now, but it looks like an odd combination of cable usage is preventing it from working properly with my Surface Pro X Dock. I used to have 2 monitors for productivity but now I've replaced that 34 inch screen with an ultra wide screen. I haven't looked back (and don't miss that pesky old divider between two screens, especially with all those Zoom meetings). Responsive, bright, great for text and graphics (I don't game, but I do a lot of video and Photoshop) - and I'm impressed. Great for working, plenty of room for a couple of wide open windows. Joy.

I work from home 12 hours a day, most of the time I spend in front of the screen. Honestly, it's great. I can have 3 windows open and they will all be readable and paper wide. With my blue light blocking glasses, I hardly suffer from eye strain during my shift. For gaming I mainly play Civ 6 and this monitor is great from about 1.5ft away. This is a good monitor for the price. Image quality is almost the same as the Dell competitor as I have both. It's missing a few key features: there's no display manager for split-screen, which is essential for a large monitor. It lacks the ability to adjust up/down and to the side. Overall I think if you can live with it for $150 less then buy it. I think since I have both, at some point I'm going to get really annoyed with this monitor for not having those options.

This monitor was pretty good at first glance. However, due to the refresh rate, it turned out to be not very good. It's advertised at 60Hz, but you're not told it hits 30Hz at full display; that make movies and games look pretty bad. But if you only need one monitor for work and study; good to go Personally, I like to watch movies on my computer from time to time, and a good refresh rate is a must.

I've been using the HP 34f 6+ hours a day for over 8 months, primarily for coding and light graphics work. It was a pleasure to use, and with the ability to open multiple windows, productivity increased significantly. The display is bright and clear, but not sharp. Small text is easy to read without eye strain. Colors are well saturated but not overdone, perfect for syntax highlighting, graphics and light photo editing.

This is a really good monitor. It was very easy to set up and use with the MacBook Pro. The curved effect was ok. It creates a holographic feel that I can't say is better than not curved, just different. My main problem was that the monitor seemed too big. A 34 inch monitor is a lot to sit very close to. The screen is very clear, sharp and with vivid colors. This is a very good monitor. One nit - no audio output. In my setup, I have two computers connected to the monitor via HDMI KVM, so I can easily switch between the two computers. Good clear view and clear scene. Supplied with DisplayPort cable; HDMI cable; USB cable. It took me a few weeks to really get used to the curved monitor. The beauty of a curved monitor is that the edges don't feel as far out as a flat panel, but it also means nothing is perfectly rectangular if that's important to your usage. The curved screen is definitely better for full-screen videos when you're sitting close.

Upgraded my home office to a 32" HP with this unit and couldn't be happier. Boot a MacBook from a StarTech Dock and connect using a digital display port (instead of HDMI). Two of them passed, both started flickering within a week of possession. Used with the M1 MacBook Pro, but the flickering persists even after disconnecting from the computer. Let's get to Samsung.

After unpacking the monitor, I noticed that one of the edges was a bit worn. Wasn't what I expected after spending so much money. I'm deducting 2 stars from my rating for that. The rest of the monitor works great.

The product is heavy at the top and small at the bottom. Do not pull your hand on the monitor, especially if you have a Vari desktop and the monitor is tilted down. The product tips over. In my case, when I reached back to check the connection, the monitor fell forward and the top right side of the screen broke. I didn't even know I had touched the product when it fell. The base should be twice the size and weighted.

Easy installation and excellent value for money. A nice screen makes my eyes look a lot better. The best investment I could have made. Purchasing this monitor increased my productivity by 40%. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very very happy with this widescreen monitor. I have owned this monitor for almost 2 years and have had no problems with this wonderful monitor.

All you need to know is that this product is excellent, it is also used for gaming although it is mainly used for 4k editing. The 60Hz refresh rate can be seen as a weak point, but I can't tell this monitor apart from the previous 120Hz monitor when it comes to gaming. Obviously there is, but it's hard to tell honestly. Its slim, well built and A1 picture quality.
