It works well for Nintendo Switch. Sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect a device to the mixer console to send a signal to the TV. But it works fine. I used an aftermarket power cable and a high speed HDMI cable. There is also a controller that connects to the Element's USB port. U MUST have a few things for this item to work with a switch. 1- MUST have a 15V 2.6A plug/AC adapter. This gives the console enough power to send information to the TV. 2 MUST be HDMI with high speed 4k capabilities. I only gave 4 stars because the first one I received was defective so I had to deal with the hassle of waiting for a replacement and sending the defective one back
