Review on THINGAMEJIG QT25 SCRIB Scribing Tool Thingamejig by Lee Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a WORLD CLASS ELITE Marking Tool

I first used this tool to mark a paint bench with a solid back, double ended leg and another wall mounted then on a 12ft stand . 2 inch thick white oak floating shelf that sat on grass paper and was very wobbly. The scribe glided across the incredibly soft grass paper and cut out the scribe line I had cut out, and I didn't have to redraw. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'll never have to recreate a scribe with this tool. It's easier than getting a packet of shims to a scriber because you can smoothly and accurately move the threaded-shank blade to the maximum opening and remove the absolute minimum amount of material, just like a good 12-joint cutter arm. The contact surface is designed to protect paint, clear coat and even grass paper and other similar finished wall coverings. This is the best closet labeling tool you will ever find.
