My daughter loves the white color, they were very affordable and suited us well so I would recommend them. The Velcro straps at the waist are adjustable, allowing us to tighten the strap area as much as possible. My daughter said she was afraid her pants would fall off, but she survived our snow adventure with no problems. She is 9 years old and usually fits medium sizes perfectly (e.g. Target's Cat & Jack brand) and we thought the leg length was good, especially with boots, but the waist area was a bit large and I will let her grow out of that. . Just be aware that if your child is a little petite than mine, the pants run the risk of being a little big at the waist.
