Review on 📹 iSaddle CH02A YI Dash Camera Mount Holder - Vehicle Video Recorder/Car DVR Camera Windshield & Dashboard Suction Mount Holder by Michael Pickering

For those considering the Yi Smart Dash Cam, Revain is currently selling an "International Version". The only downside is that only the "Chinese version" comes with a suction cup mount (among some other differences) to install in your car. The rest of the world gets a "3M peel and stick" mount. I would like to be able to remove the camera for cleaning and use it in another car. I'm not the most determined either, so luckily I installed it in one place and then realized I wanted to move it. I ventured this mount after looking at images on Revain for iSaddle and Yi Smart Dash. Cam and ordered both. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING Seller was SADDLE LTD. The product came in a small colorful box that oddly didn't contain a picture of the item itself. Instead, it showed images of several other mounts. I was happy to find the right thing in the box. The barcode label was for the correct mount, so clearly they use one box for multiple mounts. The product arrived in 2 days in accordance with my main delivery. The INSTALL was brought back because the Yi mount is actually so small compared to the iSaddle. The mount is relatively small but HUGE compared to the Yi mount. Careful inspection showed that the part that fits into the iSaddle mount chamber was roughly the same size as the Yi mount. On closer inspection, I realized that the design is basically almost identical. Although the shape is slightly different, the basic dimensions are the same. I installed the OEM bracket (Yi) first to get a feel for how tight the parts should be. The iSaddle required the same amount of force to install and the mount is SOLID. The locking tab is the same distance from the mounting plate as the Yi mount, allowing it to snap into place like the Yi mount without modification. The suction cup is very strong and sticks very securely to my car window. . It wasn't hard to pull it off because it stuck to the glass so well, but it's good! For reference: The current temperature here during the day is currently around 71-74 degrees with a relative humidity of between 36 and 48 percent. ADJUSTMENT Adjustment is firm and firm when loosening and tightening, which feels better than the price tag suggests. The tilt mechanism makes a nice crisp click as you flick it through its range of motion before locking it with the knob. The swivel felt a little rubbery (which would probably help the grip) but turned smoothly and locked up when the adjusting nut was tightened. the taste of the person, the device to be installed and the slope of the windshield on which it is installed. This worked perfectly for me and the Yi Smart Dashcam. Yi must be fairly new as I'm surprised at how little information there is on this camera and how to install it.
