Always adjust fit
I have smaller than average hands so that's probably a factor. But despite my best efforts, my fingers stick out at the ends and the pads tend to twist sideways a lot. Elastic loops are good in theory, but I spend a lot of time adjusting the fit. I bought this one hoping to get the same benefits as a full glove for 1/3 the price but I'm disappointed. I thought about adding some pine sap or finding a way to glue it to my glove. If it works, it will at least make this product usable. And so maybe it's better for catchers anyway.
