Great little glove tool

Used to protect my finger when catching fast pitch pitchers (48-60 mph). Easy to put on and use with any glove. Really helps for those tone pairs that don't quite fit in the bag. Very satisfied.

does the job. to Other Team Sports

The palm guard works but the rubber bands that wrap around the fingers are tight. I use it but my figures are numb from rubber bands. It helps with the burning sensation, but you'll have to remove or adjust it because of the streaks.

Palmgard Sting Stopper

I play ball a lot with my grandson. He's on the 14U travel team and now that he's older he's throwing the ball skillfully. I got a bruise on my arm from his throw and it hurt so bad I couldn't play ball anymore. I buy a Palmgard stitch stopper and it works great and I catch it again.

Great for a teenage catcher

My son, a 14 year old catcher, is using a well broken glove. His teammates are starting to throw +/- 70mph and his index finger was killing him after every game. It has helped him a lot and should last until the end of the season when he breaks in his new glove. Totally worth the money in my opinion.

Great product let's see how long it lasts

At first this item seemed too tight on my fingers, I use XL batting gloves, on the other side there are 4 loops to put your fingers through . After using it while gaming it didn't bother me and gave me the protection I needed, we have a left handed guy that goes up to 80mph and is finally pain free. Great product, let's see how long it lasts.

Everything is OK. i would buy it

Everything is fine. would i buy it again? I doubt it, especially for the price. This softens the "sting" of a hard thrown ball a little. However, this is not much more effective than sticking your index finger out of the glove. probably even less. However, it allows you to leave your finger in the glove (if you prefer that, like me) and stays in place in the glove without having to take it off and replace it every time. So I have to give three stars for that. BUT, if you're looking for…

Always adjust fit

I have smaller than average hands so that's probably a factor. But despite my best efforts, my fingers stick out at the ends and the pads tend to twist sideways a lot. Elastic loops are good in theory, but I spend a lot of time adjusting the fit. I bought this one hoping to get the same benefits as a full glove for 1/3 the price but I'm disappointed. I thought about adding some pine sap or finding a way to glue it to my glove. If it works, it will at least make this product usable. And so maybe
