I needed a dehumidifier for a warehouse that didn't have air conditioning and was starting to grow mold on some surfaces due to the heat and humidity. I chose this product because it wasn't too expensive and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. Already 24 hours after the start I noticed an immediate difference, the air even smelled better. Have been using for a few weeks now and haven't noticed any new mold growth (humidity is very high in Virginia Beach at this time) and the air seems more comfortable to breathe. I even use it for a larger area than intended and have had no problems. It's not very noisy in operation and the permanent drain hose is a real plus so I don't have to maintain it. I believe this has saved me quite a bit of cleaning time in the future or having to throw away damaged items. I am happy to recommend this product.
