efficient, quiet and durable

Every summer we process garden produce in 2 full freezers and we bought this commercial unit because we were tired of burning the cheap. Came in a big box with all the details. It came with an instruction manual, which we haven't needed yet because it speaks for itself. yes it is hard It will be difficult to accidentally tip over. It's also very quiet, you don't hear the high-pitched squeaks that most consumer processors make. In the 6 weeks we've had him, he's sliced garlic bean pesto into several freezer bags, sliced zucchini straight into freezer bags (how handy!), and sliced a bunch of cucumbers, shallots, and garlic to make pickles in the fridge, or ? in the salt tank. The hole for the chopping chute is large enough to fill medium squash, small peppers and onions without cutting them first. Bzzz! All crushed or sliced, very effective. The parts are durable (yes, I dropped one of these on the floor - not even a scratch) and are easy to clean with a simple tap. No awkward corners to dig into with sharp objects to scrape things and no special brushes required, just rinse, dry and put away.
