These were purchased for making noses for face masks. I take two and twist them together to make the nose piece on the masks. The stem ends are sharp. I bend them with scissors and then bite them so the sharp end doesn't pierce my face. This method works, but there is a fear that one day it will pierce the fabric and gouge out an eye or scratch the face. The grass material on the stem provides softness. The stems take the shape of the nose well. Otherwise, it works well as a bow. Oh, I also wrap them in cloth and then put them in a mask.
