Excellent quality

I bought this to replace a discontinued product from another brand. Very happy with them. The down density is good and fairly consistent (I've had consistency issues with other brands) and the wire is stiff but not overly stiff. They are a little lighter than they look in the picture which is perfect for me. Note that they are 4mm thick; If you've used 3mm for specific crafts where you want a less clunky look, they're great! If you're used to the more common 6mm, you might be confused.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Expensive

Good Stuff

These were purchased for making noses for face masks. I take two and twist them together to make the nose piece on the masks. The stem ends are sharp. I bend them with scissors and then bite them so the sharp end doesn't pierce my face. This method works, but there is a fear that one day it will pierce the fabric and gouge out an eye or scratch the face. The grass material on the stem provides softness. The stems take the shape of the nose well. Otherwise, it works well as a bow. Oh, I also…

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Unreliable

The pack I bought has 100 pieces which should last a while. I fold each in half, then twist the pointed ends and twist them slightly. After that I use needle nose pliers to push the sharp ends into the tube brush (because the ends are close to the eyes when the brush is in the face mask). They work fine for the original purpose. Now I also use them instead of ribbons for groceries in plastic bags. They are comfortable and seem to last longer than the zip ties that come with most products…

Pros
  • Art supplies
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others
