Our group is digitizing our fake leaves. We've used laptops, which are bulky and unwieldy. Moving our fake sheets to a tablet makes things easier. I ordered this device to mount on a microphone stand and hold my Samsung Galaxy tablet. It was more expensive than some of the options, but the installation and setup turned out to be a lot more extensive. They really matter. Very well done. The instructions could have been written more simply, but once you realize that in the first paragraph the terms "height" and "width" are confused, they become pretty straightforward. I messed up the first one I sent. Is not my fault. I used the screws that came with it, but they accidentally put the wrong hardware in the bag and the screws were too long. This drove them into the inner workings of the cradle. When I contacted the company, they were *very* sorry and extremely helpful. They quickly came out with a new stand (along with the right size screws). If you're looking for a reliable way to attach your tablet to a music rest with infinite adjustment, this product is perfect. You can find something cheaper, but it would be hard to find something better, and experience has taught many of us that it is often the cheapest things that end up costing the most.
