Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Secure Your Gear with BELL Ballistic 610 Cable Key Lock 2019 - Unbreakable Protection for Peace of Mind by Robert Hardin

Good performance of an item on the market

I'm sure this has been said in other reviews and you probably already know that this lock isn't for leaving your bike somewhere unattended for a few hours. To do this, you need a U-lock, which is heavy and bulky. This lock is more suitable for running errands or locking your bike in a semi-secure location such as a garage. B. directly in front of a shop. It's better than Lock D if weight and convenience are important to you, and worse than Lock if you're aiming for maximum security. It keeps honest people honest but won't stop anyone stealing bikes for a living if you give them enough time. So, as a lightweight bike lock in this category, this one is pretty good. This is the right length to attach both wheels and frame to a stationary object. The locking mechanism is crisp and solid and has a nice soft vinyl dust cover. It might seem like a dust cover will unnecessarily slow things down, but since one with locking holes gets sticky and eats away dirt, that's a huge plus. In fact, locking and unlocking is smooth and easy; Some locks are annoyingly tight, but not this one. Thought the glowing key would be a real bonus too, and for some it might be. This works, but adds thickness to the key, which I just don't need in my keychain. Luckily, one of the two keys that came with it is a regular key. The cable is covered with a thick, soft PVC sheath that cannot scratch the bike. It's rolled up and that twist stays in the cable as it unwinds, which can be uncomfortable but makes it a lot easier to store or carry. So I call it a draw. So what's not to like? Unimportant. Such locks are a kind of commodity. not much to tell them apart. This one comes with the Bell name (they always exist), a key changer, a backlit button, and a dust cover. If this is the type of lock you're looking for, I'd say pull the trigger.
