Review on πŸ’– Oral-B iO Series 9 Electric Toothbrush with 4 Replacement Brush Heads in Rose Quartz Color by Mary Hovatter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sturdy but familiarize yourself with the downsides

First of all, at least in the past, I've had a lot of dental problems. Missing molar, upper left. 4-5 crowns and possibly as many fillings. The dentist asked me to buy an electric toothbrush to improve the health of my gums and teeth and I chose the best one. First, credit where it is due. This is a unique product. My teeth really do seem cleaner than ever and basically the product has done its job and is worth every penny when you look at it that way. So why 3 stars. First, the application is not accurate and quite annoying. He will never be able to represent my mouth correctly. It's not smart enough to learn and always ends up with a message of what you can do better, which can get really demotivating after a while. I've watched their videos, tried different cleaning combinations, but it's never enough. The best score I have is 80, and that's rare. It's also flawed that he thinks I'm brushing my top teeth when I'm brushing my bottom teeth. The bleeding indicator is also very primitive. There is no machine learning here. It will ask you if it detects pressure on your gums above a threshold, and if you answer yes, the message will appear again if you apply the same or higher excessive pressure. This is great for travel. Charge it fully and I didn't have to charge it for 8-9 days even though it comes with a very nice case and small charger. I feel that while it is the best on the market, it is an unfinished product and overpriced. For €100 it's worth it. Maybe $150, but not $300. If you have extra cash or get a great deal, by all means go get it, otherwise you'll be satisfied with a solid $150 brush and can easily avoid app hassles and not miss a thing.
