. I have had this light since December 2018 but about 5 months ago I encountered the following issues. It was a great light, grew great plants, all the LEDs still work and the ability to change the colors of the light and program when it turns on and off was great. A few months ago, however, the light was no longer controlled by the remote control. It wasn't really an issue, but the ability to program it to turn on and off automatically was the reason I bought the light. Now, for the last month, the light randomly turns off as if programmed to do so, but the remote (and others) are not controlling the light. Even if I have a light plugged in, it will likely switch colors randomly or turn off while I'm away. In less than 2 years (and actually only after 1 year of use) it became unusable which is discouraging. The whole purpose of my switch to LED was to be able to leave the light on longer, but the t5s (in my experience) have lasted much longer. Hope that helps. I really think this is a good light but the feature that sells it is weak and renders it unusable over time.
