The guy who complained about the gap and inconsistency in workmanship, that's $10 stop crying. Clearance is not even remotely an issue and is common on BMX and MTB stems. My stem didn't have any issues with threading, but if it did, I'd still ride it. Or return to another. There will always be inconsistencies with mass-produced products, especially when it comes to the fact that no well-known brands are copying a popular product like this. You get what you pay for and I'm sure it's worth every penny spent.
