I didn't expect much from them. I assumed a tolerance of +/- 0.001 and that's what I got. However, they are not always more or less. 0.040 inch is 0.0394, 0.010 is 0.0101, and 0.001 is 0.0016. The ones I have are the same but in length. half a thousand in all this. If you expect them to be accurate to 25ths of a million, you will be disappointed. Accepting them for who they are and using them appropriately can make them feel good. For example I need to set the spacing to 0.001 - 0.002 and at 0.0016 these readings were perfectly acceptable. Basically I needed a narrow tip to bottleneck them and it worked great.
