Device peeled off 3m of double sided tape overnight. The tape stuck to the torpedo very firmly, but the block on the side came loose. Since there was an additional 3m tape in the kit, I tried again, but the same problem. I sent the device back. I ordered a scosche with a suction function, but that didn't last either. My observation is that Scosche products are not very well designed. I have two other DVRs with suction cups and a phone holder that didn't come off on my other car.
