Review on Pyle Single DIN In-Dash Car Stereo with 7” Touchscreen Display, Bluetooth, and Hands-free Calling - PLTS78DUB, BLACK by Jeremy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this car radio! It does everything I wanted plus some!

(This review is not for the techno-audiophile who knows the name of all things electronics, read on.) I LOVE my new car stereo! I searched for a long time, measured characteristics, reviews and price. I am not at all disappointed with my solution, I have been using it for almost two months now. I'm not an audiophile so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a system. Spending under $150 for all the features this system can offer is a lot! If the person installing it for you knows what they're doing, they should buy an installation kit and wiring harness - that's pretty handy. This way, if you sell your car, you can simply disconnect it and then reconnect your old stereo. It's almost like a plug and play system. But I digress! My stereo was installed in a Chevy Uplander and the guy who installed it said it was no problem. He is not a professional but he does almost all work on our cars and has replaced several car radios in his time. blind zones. My neck isn't as flexible as it used to be! You will need to purchase a backup camera separately - I have a Koolertron backup camera for the license plate. It's only $13 with a bunch of good reviews. I really like the picture quality. I used to have a different type of backup camera that connected to a clumsy device attached to my rearview mirror. He completely replaced the rear-view mirror, so the view was wrong - instead of wide view, it was narrow. And because it was so heavy, it resulted in the whole mirror falling down several times during the winter months. I am very happy that I have a new camera, which is comfortable, easy to use and does not hide anything important. It's just really beautiful! I also wanted a touchscreen system that would be easier to see while driving (than the face of the radio) and that hit the spot! The icons are large, clear for their purpose, and responsive to touch. The learning curve is pretty quick, especially after reading the manual (which is pretty short and printed with lots of typos - oops!). The remote control comes in handy when I can't remember how to get to one of the screens, e.g. B. to the menu for changing settings. Between stereo front panel, touch screen and remote control, you have nothing to lose! And if you have stereo controls on the steering wheel, you can connect that way too. I also wanted something that could handle all the technologies on my wish list. AM/FM of course. CD, DVD and even CD-ROM (Finally I could listen to my in-car training course CD-ROM!). With my old factory stereo, I'm used to plugging in my phone to listen to apps through my car speakers. But thanks to Pyle's Bluetooth capabilities, I get smooth, clear sound when listening to Audible books and YouTube videos. No more car engine noise or crackling speakers when nothing is playing. It pleases my ears. I don't need an MP3/4/5, flash drive or SD card. It comes with two different cables for AUX and USB and so far I've only tried the AUX cable. I just prefer Bluetooth. I haven't tried the DVD yet. I can edit this review at this time. I've made and received Bluetooth calls and the sound quality is excellent. Strangely, the other person's voice sounds great through the car speakers, and I've been told my voice is good too. To me, this is fun novelty and I intend to have fun with it. I will force my Google Assistant to learn everything in my power to completely free my hands and enjoy driving! You know how people with expensive car stereos remove the bezel to deter theft? Well, figuring out how to remove that faceplate is so easy even a kid can do it. So if you want to be one of those people, do it! Just press the button on the right side and gently remove it. Don't forget to grab the screen. Interestingly, the screen can be removed and still works (as long as it's still in the car, of course). All in all I would buy it again. It will probably cost even less in the future!
