Honestly I expected a slightly heavier sole on the sole. Used them to walk on the beach to avoid stepping on anything sharp. They serve their purpose and fit well. But in reality it was like putting on a durable elastic sock with a light sole. In contrast to water boots, which can also be worn comfortably afterwards if necessary, they were not suitable for this purpose. I had to put on my normal walking shoes to get back to our room. I can say that they wash well, do not fade and do not pull colors from linen. They dried pretty well when I put them on the patio, but they were still damp the next morning. Overall I'm sure they go well with others but I wouldn't buy another pair.
