Great portable monitor, but with a real problem

I bought this monitor for two specific purposes. First as a monitor for my BlackMagic ATEM Mini Pro. After trying a 7 inch monitor I found that it wasn't big enough to see what I wanted to see and a 15 inch monitor would have been much better. And this. It works AMAZING for that. It's very bright, sharp and clear. I also tried using it with my laptop and it works fine, it only requires a USB-C cable for power and display and you don't have to do anything. just plug it in and it works. It's good. Good Excellent. I've attached a photo showing what 500 nits and 100% DCI color looks like, next to the HP x360 Envy which is only 250 nits and about 47% DCI color. In personal experience, the difference is even clearer, and the UPERFECT monitor looks much better. Both screens were at 100% brightness. But I wanted to use it as a camera monitor. And for that, it just doesn't show any frame rate other than 60p or 60Hz. It cannot interpret 24p, 23.98 or even 50 from a camera or any other source. It just says NO SUPPORT. So unless I'm shooting at 60 fps, the monitor doesn't show anything from the camera via HDMI. I have tried 2 different types of cameras and ALSO 2 different wireless video systems using HDMI and then finally one of my field monitors using HDMI. Every time the signal was 60p it was displayed. Each time it was something different, NO SUPPORT. So it won't really do what I want it to do natively. Oddly enough, when I run my cameras through the ATEM Mini Pro and output to this monitor, it displays them well no matter what frame rate I'm shooting at. So I'm going to leave the monitor as it is doing half of what I want with no problems and the other half with a little hack. If you're looking for a portable video game monitor or a second monitor for your computer, this is probably a good choice for you. It's very light and the colors are bright and vibrant. The contrast is nice and sharp. You just can't use it as a large field camera monitor. I gave four stars because it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. But there was no way of knowing if it would run at a different frame rate. It's doubtful it will be, and the seller says it should. But I can guarantee you it is not.
