Review on Redi Shade 36x72 Light Filtering Pleated Paper Shades, 6-pack - White by Lucy Baker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow! Works as intended. The time will show.

Received and installed all six today as an experiment in my newly purchased home. I also ordered a more durable paper shade for the door. The glue on the other side is definitely much stronger. When the glue doesn't stick to this product I just stick double sided tape instead of complaining about $5 for a product color like some do. Another benefit is that I can use the cut outs for my French doors leading to my patio making them a big deal. The house I bought is in a prestigious area. For some reason there were no window bars in the common areas of the house and there are many windows. I needed something quick for privacy that didn't look like crap. They are perfect for this and installed very quickly. It took me about two minutes for each shade as I wasn't in a hurry. I used a fabric screen on the door (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0126ETS6Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which actually has a weighted base and strings in the screen, just like real ones blinds . The glue is spongy and seems more durable. I wanted this because the door opens and closes regularly, which requires a more reliable dimming system. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Clean the surface and let it dry before installing these curtains. 2) If you are unsure about the adhesive on this product for your surface, simply apply strong double-sided tape. 3) Check if the extra cutting section is used. The cutout I cut out is perfect for my rear double French doors that I don't use very often. Double sided tape option (one of many): https://www.amazon.com/HitLights-Heavy-Double-Double-sided/dp/B00PKI7IBG/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2MYPRJX8FM8X4&dchild=1&keywords=double-sided+tape + heavy+load&qid=1594538374&s=hi&sprefix=double%2Ctools%2C184&sr=1-5
