Review on Shark DuoClean Zero M ZS362 Vacuum by Debbie Bradshaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is NOT 'ultra light'

However it is a very effective and efficient 'super stick' one Vacuum cleaners. Stick vacuums are not an ultra-lightweight vacuum at all. With an attached stand unit and a very thick and heavy power cord, this thing is massive and awkward to transport. On the ground, however, it's maneuverable and surprisingly easy to use. Not so much for Your aging mom with arthritis in her hands but for most people this thing can be useful than any normal pose I've had including the pretty good shark I use but is damn hard to move as I get older The steering is quick and precise, which was a pleasant surprise And boy does it s clean. I went over a piece of carpet in the hallway with a (really) light Dirt Devil vacuum and got the carpet pretty clean. Then run it over the same surface with an electric (electric, not just suction) carpet nozzle. And I ended up with a whole bowl of dirt full of things I hadn't even seen. Then he let her do the same on the front steps: taking out dust and dirt, ignoring the Dirt Devil Stick or pretending it wasn't there. *And* the roller brush really cleans itself. My wife's hair is as thin as an angora's, almost to her waist. I actually burned the roller belt of an expensive European vacuum cleaner when enough of her hair got tangled in it that the belt literally came loose. (Eventually I had to buy a new curler as it was so tangled up with hair I was still fumbling with a knife or scissors to free things.) On this one? Not a strand of hair, and I *know* there were a lot, as my mistress sometimes sheds hair like an angora cat, and the fur is so thin you never know where it's going to go. Sprinkle very fine dust when emptying, so wear sweatpants or empty in the garage. There's a certain "static cling" where dust is all over the case, which is annoying, but a slightly damp cloth will take care of that. The disassembly/assembly of the dust collector is very simple. There are some filters that you will need to clean from time to time, but they are clearly marked on the case and in the instruction manual. fanatical and do it every day or so. Bits of sand and gravel and even a few small dry leaves that blew through the front door with ease. The impeller is behind the filters, so you don't have that wonderful curved fan blade sound that you had on traditional handheld vacuums a generation or two ago. Best headlight I've ever seen on a vacuum, and it's on. The body is not on the roller part, so you have light even when using a dusting brush or crevice tool. The cord is quite long and of excellent thickness, so it's heavy, but the vacuum has the usual "Wind Me" loops when not in use, but again, it's going to be difficult to maneuver around that way. It won't stand alone, but there is a hanging loop on the back if you're convenient and want to hang it on a wall in your closet or garage. Use the application: Read the manual. You can cleverly attach the motor block to the front of the stick and the "base" and then wrap the cord around things and the whole thing fits into a corner so it's out of the way. Most intelligent and unobtrusive when looking at the vacuum cleaner. There's a small set of basic tools: an upholstery brush, a crevice tool, and a short, moderately flexible but cheap feeler hose. suitable for hose and ideal for cleaning computer keyboards and other very small surfaces and areas. This is an excellent vacuum cleaner in terms of cleaning and I'm only giving it four stars because it's very heavy and awkward to handle when the floor brush isn't being used. I've seen several vacuums of this type with a shoulder strap and that could be really useful. Oh, and the main wand appears to be metal instead of plastic, and it's long enough that a tall guy like me could use it with a floor nozzle without having to bend down. Bonus: This is pretty damn good for getting spiders out of those *&^% ceiling corners they like to hide in.

Pros
  • LIGHT HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER: The handheld vacuum turns into a lightweight portable vacuum for cleaning above floors - on furniture, stairs etc.
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything
