This is a bit better than I expected. It's about 7.5 inches long so not very big. The entire top is a solar panel that works well. I used the crank for about a minute (after switching to the built-in lithium-ion battery) and turned on the radio. It was a cloudy day, but I listened for a couple of hours, it didn't stop, I just turned it off, the device was fully charged, I also used it to charge my iPhone - it has 2 USB sockets. the opposite side as a flashlight. AM, FM and weather band, solar powered, charges the phone and other items. Really useful thing! I am very happy with this purchase.
