Review on Sceptre U278W 4000R 4K DisplayPort Monitor with Built-In Speakers and IPS Technology by Daniel Polk

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great monitor for the price

I'm not a display expert, but to me this monitor looks really good, especially for the price. It has two HDMI inputs, a DVI input and a full-size (as opposed to a mini) DisplayPort input. I connected two computers via HDMI inputs and everything works fine. My latest device supports UHD resolution (4K) and both the computer and the monitor work well with these settings. The display is well built and the stand is well designed as others have pointed out. there is room to grow. The remote control is helpful in this case as the monitor controls are located on the lower right rear of the chassis when viewed from the front of the screen. To make adjustments such as B. selecting a different input, I have to reach the back of the control panel to make a selection. In my situation, I can't see the buttons, so I have to rely on my intuition and memory to place the buttons. It's not an obstacle, but a remote control would be a nice addition. My solution would be to have a remote controlled HDMI switcher, which I actually bought. However, the switch wasn't HDMI 2.0 compatible, so it wouldn't pass 4K signals to the monitor. Although a direct connection works fine. I will be making this additional purchase for my setup once I find the right switch. Overall I would recommend this monitor to my friends (I already have one) and buy it again.
