The build quality is very solid and the cable is well made. Connect and disconnect, while the second required more effort. I had a feeling the tolerance on the second cable might be a bit different. I also bought the Anker USB 3.1 version of the cables and they fit just fine. *** Anker customer service contacted me and offered to send me replacement cables for testing. Unfortunately, the replacement cables on my Samsung S9+ were still too tight. I would like to commend their customer service: they tried to solve the problem and offered refunds without asking any questions. I'm slightly increasing my rating to 3 stars. The cables are good, they just don't match my S9+. Other phone owners may find them well made and of good quality. Great service from Anker!
