The automatic tailgate on my wife's 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe (only 10,000 miles) broke. We took it to the dealer and it was 1 month out of warranty. Hyundai wouldn't agree to honor it even if it were brand new and had so few miles on it. New auto lifts had to cost over $1,000. I decided to try and make a good old hand operated gate out of it. I ordered them and they were the correct length (which I measured) BUT they were the wrong diameter for the bushings on the ends that attach to the Santa Fe ball joints. They were 11mm and I needed 13mm heads to fit. I made a mistake but contacted this company (which is AMAZING) to see what they can do to help. They sent me 4 new tips (13mm heads) for FREE. I removed the old grommets, put on the 13mm grommets and in 5 minutes both posts were installed and they work great!
