Review on Neato Botvac D3 Connected Robot Vacuum Cleaner by Danuta Dobroczyska ᠌
I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.
I liked the principle of operation of this robot - vacuum. So it cleans not only the floor from mechanical dirt, but also the air. It does not have brushes for sweeping dust, but this is not necessary - the suction power is large, and hard-to-reach places and baseboards still need to be vacuumed with a regular vacuum cleaner sometimes. In general, the purchase turned out to be necessary, but, of course, surface preparation such as raising chairs is not canceled.
Pros
- Cleans well, including cat hair. It works quietly, I calmly run it even after 10 pm. Stylish externally matte solid plastic that does not collect dust. A reasonable trajectory of movement, overcomes various obstacles well (11 mm threshold), does not get tangled in wires, although thin ones can be torn with meat.
Cons
- The software is not perfect. The return to base button does not work for me, so after finishing work I have to quickly pause until the vacuum cleaner returns to its place. It's good that it indicates the end of cleaning with a sound signal. After the ate, the software forgets the constructed map of the room and explores everything anew during the first cleaning. Filter change every few months.
