Absolute rubbish good for USB port cards

Listed as "Choice Revain" and promised next day shipping plus 7 USB 3.0 ports, what could go wrong? Didn't arrive next day and if that's Revane's choice for the computer card then Revane should get out of the computer parts business. We also managed to have only two ports work at USB 3.0 speeds. I bought this to replace a card a couple of years old that was occasionally losing connection so I figured a new one might be an improvement but unfortunately I was wrong. At first the computer did not recognize the card, but after several reinstallations it appeared. The next problem was that the software that came with it didn't install the drivers. He almost finished, hung up and then told me he couldn't finish and try again later. Found on the Internet, it is best not to use the manufacturer's drivers as they are problematic. Not a good sign so I installed the Windows drivers. Everything looked fine, but when I plugged a USB stick into one of the ports, I was told to use USB 3.0 for more speed. Oddly enough, it has to be a USB 3.0 card. Rebooted and reinstalled the drivers and found that out of the seven ports only two worked, but at least worked at USB 3.0 speeds. Decide that this card is way worse than the old card I replaced and put that crap back. I would call this card Dung, but that would be a disparagement of Dung as it serves a purpose in farming. Maybe I just got a bad one, and it could just be a quality control issue with the manufacturer. There were many positive reviews for this card, but it's hard to tell if most of them were blank reviews. But it was a waste of time trying to get it working as promised from time to time and then worrying about its return.
