Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Inov-8 Men's Bare 210 Cross Trainer Athletic Shoes for Men by Vincent Poolaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Still a great shoe, although I liked the V1 better. Order 1/2 size smaller.

First of all I am satisfied with these shoes. In my opinion this is one of the best zero drop nude shoes out there. However, I prefer the first version of these shoes more. I liked their first version. Size 9 fits like a glove. However, the V2 is a bit longer and I had to go down to a size 8.5 (even then they were a bit longer, but a size 8 was too small). My V1s lasted 3 years with almost daily use before the outsole barely started to work. share. I decided it was time to buy a new pair when the lace loops started to unravel. (pictured) With the V2 they changed the way the laces are attached so I don't expect any separation issues. They kept the outsole, although the V2s feel a bit thicker and not as vulnerable (although that might be because I've worn my V1s so much). . One thing I don't like is that they added a significant amount of cushioning to the shoe's upper (compared to the V1). They feel soft and comfortable but my feet definitely sweat more in them than in the V1. This may increase the protection against falling loads somewhat. I liked the V1 better because it didn't have that extra pad (and the fit was a bit more precise). The toe box also uses a rubber material instead of fabric like the V1. The V2 provided noticeable protection when I stubbed my foot on gear at the gym (V1s. not much). Finally, while looks were never really important to me, the blacks and greens look cooler than the V1s. Overall these are amazing shoes and I would highly recommend them. I just wish they had stayed the same size and not used that thicker material over the toe of the shoe (but maybe it's growing on me). UPDATE: May 29, 2019. I've upped my rating from four. up to five stars. I can't believe I bought these shoes almost two years ago. While I still agree with everything I originally wrote comparing them to the V1, these shoes held up pretty darn well and I had to give an extra star. They still fit like new. They even look new. I use them 3-5 times a week for crossfit/boxing/weight training and they still work. I've taken more orange theory classes and am now working on the Athlean X program and it's still my favorite shoe. I've replaced the laces with some of these Xpand laces (but since the laces have gone bad or something I just wanted to try the no tie style) and the combination of shoes and laces is phenomenal. I slip these things on and off with no problem and I'm confident the shoe will stay snug and secure even during my (short, no more than 1/4 mile) sprints. At this rate, these shoes will last a few more years.
