I have had an iPhone for at least 10 years and have never had any problems with the charging cable. This charging cable and dual plug charged my iPhone quickly, but after 2 weeks of use, the metal part that plugs into the phone has completely separated from the cable. I sent it back for replacement and it took another two weeks for the USB connector to come loose from the cable. I returned it for a refund. Two cable breaks in less than a month? Not a durable product!
