Very happy with this purchase. I have another brand that I have used for years and this one is better. The non-stick coating really works and gets very hot. In fact it is much hotter than my old model and I had to get used to the high temperature either by lowering the temperature or reducing the time. The fan works to clear the smoke. Update: August 2021 After originally giving this grill a good rating and 5 stars, I have completely changed my rating. If I could rate 0 I would rate both the product and the customer service. I've noticed that after 7 months the heating elements sometimes didn't get as hot as when they were new. The problem gradually worsened, now it does not heat at all and the heating lamp does not light up. I had another brand that lasted at least 3-4 years. I contacted GOWISE USA because it has been less than a year since they stopped working. Customer service is WORSE! They said to show proof of purchase, a photo of the serial number, and a photo of the problem. Not only did I send the requested information, I sent them at least 3 times because they kept asking for the same things. This is compounded by 3-4 calls to the helpdesk. Finally, I suggested that I resend everything while speaking to a support rep so I knew they had it on hand. Eventually she said she had everything and I thought the matter was settled. 2 days later I get another email with a return label asking me to return the broken grill. By this point I had already thrown the grill in the trash as it wasn't working and all the paperwork was sent and they never once told me they wanted to send it back. Now I'm contacting Revane because I've had this bullshit back and forth. Every time I give them what they asked for, they think of something different. My advice is NOT to buy their products. Not only did the grill not last long, but the customer service was WORSE! Stay away from GOWISE.
