This noticeably improves acceleration and throttle response. However, I can't say I noticed a huge difference in my MPG. I would also like to add that this is a very noisy filter system. You can hear it at idle, but when you step on the gas you can hear it. I would buy it again and still recommend it. This is a good buy. Not difficult to install. I got it done in about 20 minutes. If your car has an external temp gauge, you'll need a 3/4" drill bit, so don't forget that. That plus an aftermarket exhaust and a programmer and my little Dakota is pretty fast.
