It seems that when we fill tires with nitrogen, change oil, or change tires, they never change hubcaps. And that's every tire shop, Big-O, Fletcher's, dealership, anywhere. And of course those cute little GREEN caps with the nitrogen symbol. Hi! Are you color blind and illiterate? Nitrogen, mate, not just compressed air. The mechanics just aren't paying attention, they don't care and they don't have the time. Just remove the caps, deflate the tires and get the car out of here as soon as possible. Putting those pesky little caps on takes way too long. Nitrogen? Oh, this requires a special hose or a small cart that needs to be unrolled. This takes another 2 minutes. It is too long. The boss already takes care of the time spent on each vehicle. Put them on and remove them in less than 30 seconds and you're good to go. Repair 120 cars in 1 hour. Do this 10 hours a day, six days a week. Garages do not repair cars and do not offer customer service. It's all about the numbers. The covers themselves? Oh, they look wonderful! Everything else on the alloy wheel sticks out like a sore valve stem.
