Review on 🌞 Sun with Face Stencil: Reusable 14 Mil Mylar for DIY Projects, Painting, Crafts - 12x12 inches by Kelsey Brown

I am very satisfied with this product! This stencil is laser cut from durable Mylar. The material is VERY durable - I brushed it (in the bathroom) after use and it looks brand new afterwards. I bought a 12" x 12" size for a small hallway wall and it's the perfect size. The laser cutting is perfect - there are no burrs or errors in the cut, resulting in precise contours. My contractor hand textured my interior walls so he suggested something I couldn't think of which was to force thinned mortar through a stencil to create a relief effect and it worked great! I applied it with a 4 inch wide knife and pushed it through the stencil. I added a second layer that I probably won't do again. as it was a little cracked in places and a little more raised than I expected, but I just went over the dried painting to smooth out the areas and sanded it down a bit (I used fine sandpaper and also a damp rag). I am attaching a photo of only the mud relief on the wall and one of the reliefs painted in the color of the wall (the color of which is not quite correct as it was filmed with the phone under artificial light). I've since added some gold (thick acrylic) to the design, but I'm going to cover most of it with wall paint to make it (hopefully) look like an artifact, that comes from the color (I may update this review when I'm done). ).
