Review on 🛠️ Moog 80873 Coil Spring Set - 2 Pack by Sean Carter

These springs are designed for Ranger SuperCab 4x2 4.0L V6, Automatic Transmission. I mounted them on my Ranger Regular Cab 4x2 2.3L 4cyl manual transmission. washed out at times and wanted to keep the ride height lower than with any lift kit while still not being able to lower the front of the truck. They work great and really raised the front of my truck a bit. a bit (maybe half an inch or so) as they are not only stiffer but have an extra half turn compared to standard coil springs. So yes, now the ride quality is closer to a 1-ton pickup, but now keeps the front up and above things without bottoming out in the bad off-road conditions I sometimes drive. For me, this has proven to be a great compromise between ride quality and front end protection in some of the poor road conditions I ride. Overall, the springs looked good out of the box. They appear to be painted fairly well, but the paint will come off if you scratch them hard on something hard when unpacking and installing. Incidentally, my truck had 170,000 miles on it at the time of installation and needed new coil springs anyway. I am very happy with the purchase.
