I tried to bake plum bread. I expected the pan to release the loaf with gentle persuasion, but I practically had to dig it up. I have non-stick pans where everything just slides off. Not this one. Very disappointing. Update: After about 10 uses, the non-stick coating on the inside is almost gone. At this time of year I use my plum trees to bake small plum loaves for neighbors and friends. I've uploaded a second picture to show the condition of the pans when I'm done. If you oil/flour the pans the traditional way, they work quite well, and the coating makes the pan much easier to clean than an uncoated pan. Unfortunately, the coating is typical of most "non-stick" bakeware - it's not truly non-stick and will wear off after a few uses. Please note they have been cleaned with simple soap, hot water and a rubber sponge. No abrasive has ever been used.
