I liked the idea of using realistic images to describe physical properties as opposed to the cartoony, colorful, unnatural images found in "gofindit" scavenger hunt maps. A lot of them are pretty good, but almost all of them are zoomed in so much that they're pixelated or don't even know what the picture is, and if they were zoomed out more it would be easier to understand what they mean. For example, as an adult, it took me a minute to figure out what the "hot" card meant. The image (see photo) shows a sort of white cup, supposedly filled with coffee, with swirling dots (pixelated) coming out of it. My kids had no idea what it was so couldn't piece together what they meant by steam room. It doesn't look like real vapor at all. And the "creepy" part of the full moon? We are a star and moon gazing family and our first thought is that the beautiful photo of the full moon isn't "creepy". All my kids said "beautiful". "Cute" was also weird because it features a playful pup with his tongue hanging out who looks like he's ready for some fun instead of a cuddle. Even with an open-mouthed, dark, blurry photo, it can look a bit intimidating rather than pleasant. "Flat" should be "cracked". "Rough" doesn't look rough because it's so pixelated. I can't decide if I want to return it or not. I could leave them in our renter's RV.
