Don't overdose. Best in Fish and Aquatic Animals Category

So worth buying if you have high pH and generally hard water. So there is no dosage in this pack. After watching and reading I can tell you why not all water is the same. You can go to Washington state and get tap water with a pH of 6.8, and then go to Georgia and get cement hard tap water with a pH of 7.8. So I would suggest this for a 20 gallon aquarium with relatively hard water and a pH of 7.8, about 1/2 cup, but this can vary from filter to filter and water parameters. So if your water is softer, just reduce this dose, you will find the right thing, but do not overdo it. Use them with some sort of pouch, they produce a lot of dirt if left unwashed so rinse well. New picture in 3 weeks. Great tannins. The faucet rate is 7.8 hours per hour, the tank now stays between 7.2 and 7.3 hours between water changes. (sorry the water is a bit cloudy, just thoroughly cleaned and transplanted). The water hardness has dropped to the ideal tropical spectrum. Between the foam filter and the inlet, the water is usually well cleaned in about 8 hours after cleaning.
