Review on 🖌️ Raphaël Textura Flat Brush 30: Optimal Texturing Brush for Artists by Kristen Simpson

What a fantastic find! I love this brush. I have already ordered another one. But beware: I paint non-representational abstractions with heavy acrylic paints. I can't imagine it would be good for watercolor and probably not oil, and I don't think it would be good for realism. The bristles are very short and very stiff - perfect for what I do. The brush allows me to do things I couldn't do before. The length of the handle is 5-1/2 inches from the bottom of the tip. Synthetic bristles 1-3/8 inch. I bought a size 50 - 2 inches wide. I also recently bought a 2" Princeton Redline. I like him too, but he's a BIG guy. The Redline Red handle is about 10" long and the bristles are 1-7/8" long. It is a great brush but I love how Raphael Textura feels in my hand.
