Review on Totally Bamboo Branch Acacia Storage by Christian Young

I wanted to buy a salt shaker and I really liked the unusual design and appearance of this one. Very good workmanship and overall I would give it 5 stars except the smell of acacia wood was very strong. I was afraid to put my expensive Maldon flakes of sea salt in it for fear the salt would absorb the smell of the wood. So I filled it with baking soda, leaving the lid partially open and stirring the baking soda from time to time. Finally, after two months the smell has decreased significantly and I can finally use it. I had no use for it other than storing salt, so I'm glad the baking soda worked and my patience was rewarded.
