I bought this to monitor my smoke detectors while we were away without the expense of using devices like Nest. Our house doesn't have a built-in alarm system, so I'll create a multi-device wireless one; This is one of them. Set up was a little clunky and it works fine. I've been using it for a while and it seems to work as advertised. One feature I like is that when I get a notification we can message more than one person to send notifications. As I said, the setup was a bit clunky and I recommend it for those who are patient with setting up such devices and are willing to play around with it to make sure everything is working properly. That's why I only gave four stars.
