Review on 🧚 Fairy String Lights Battery Operated, 2 Pack 50 LEDs - 16 Colors Sliver Wire Lights - Remote Control - Christmas Decoration by April Irvin

My wife likes to use garlands to light up her crafts and desktop projects. She used a USB powered device but wanted something completely wireless that could be used on a coffee table in the middle of the room. She also wanted to be able to place them outdoors, and while her USB device is designed for outdoor use, they still need to be connected to something, and that connection isn't waterproof. You don't have any of these problems. She can put them anywhere, even in the rain. The light is brighter than expected and as good as plug-in types. Like all garlands, the wires appear to be bare copper covered in some sort of transparent coating. I don't know what gauge the wire is, but it's about the same size as the others we have. You can shape them however you want and they will stay in that position. The remote control is also about the same as the others we have and comes with a battery. It comes with a small piece of plastic inside the battery compartment that you need to pull to get started. There are many variations of light patterns and colors for every purpose and occasion. The battery compartment for each set is made of very durable transparent plastic and holds three batteries. (We use batteries.) The clasps are also very strong and the lid is reinforced with ribs. The lid and latches have actual hinges, not just flimsy plastic that breaks after a few open and close cycles. There are silicone gaskets inside, around the perimeter of the case as well as around the switch. This protects the device from rain and allows you to turn on the device or switch colors (short press) and modes (long press) without opening the case. A loop is built into the battery compartment so it can be hung on a hook. or a nail to keep it off the ground. I didn't see this in any of the product photos and thought it was important. As far as the product photos are concerned, there is actually no information on the battery pack about the different modes and I could not switch them off even without a remote control. I have no idea how long they last on a full battery, but let's just say many hours. It depends on how bright you have them (you can dim these, unlike all our others) and possibly the mode you choose too. We used the timer function on the remote and after a few sessions they are still working. Considering the price and build quality, these lights are easy to recommend. Hope that helps!
