Review on 💦 Sierra International 18-3317 Water Pump Kit: High-Performance Solution for Efficient Water Pumping by Paul Rogger

The quality is excellent, the fittings are excellent, no instructions. I bought it for an early 80's Mercury 'Tower of Power' 115 with an inline 6 cylinder 2 stroke engine. Everything came up except maybe the base. The kit included gaskets of various thicknesses, which is nice. Luckily I have a service manual for this old engine which helped me a lot. Even better would be detailed instructions for this set. But then I'm just grateful that I was able to get parts for this old engine. I ended up using the stock water pump base and the new Sierra water pump top as the base didn't seem to fit this kit. I bought this because I didn't know what to expect after dropping the bottom block of a 30-40 year old outboard motor. Others would be better off with just the impeller.
