It's best to have a cat door helper
Be sure to ask someone to help you with this. I love the quality and all but my cat goes under. I need to figure out how to attach it to the floor in case we accidentally lift it too high and the floor doesn't touch the ground. We tried sticking it on but it didn't work. My cat was exposed to toxic aloe for cats. However, be very careful with placement. That's why I say there is help. There were 2 of us and we managed to screw it up.
