These discs do not work well on my recorder (RCA DRC8000N, purchased 2003) First of all they need to be formatted (or reformatted). After that they sometimes accept media from a TV or videocassette, sometimes not, resulting in an error message.I have used Verbatim, TDK and/or Maxell discs (which have already been formatted) for several years with satisfactory results.
