Sturdy and very well designed. Everything about the bike rack is very well thought out. We use it to carry two of our Evelo delta x and they weigh around 60 pounds each without the battery. Handles them very well. Vibration is almost zero and putting on and taking off the bikes is very easy and quick. My bikes have fenders and that's not a problem for the trunk. I just clamp the wing as close as possible and don't over tighten the clamps. They work great. The built-in cable lock is great for us to go to a restaurant for some food and worry less. It's not chain but if you park in a decent spot where the car is secure I wouldn't worry about someone snagging it. Even Evelo recommends this carrier for its e-bikes.
