Review on GoVideo DVR4200: The Ultimate DVD-VCR Combo for Seamless Entertainment by Marc Stewart

The DVD player in this double deck is normal, on par with budget players. The VCR in this deck is decent and on par with lower-end VCRs. As long as everything is fair. BUT the recorder doesn't burn Macrovision encoded DVDs (and most of them do), so don't expect to use it as a general purpose DVD burning method. The DVD player also does not play VCDs or SVCDs. So it has the basic functionality, but a bit more. All in all, this is useful for those who need both a DVD player and VCR and want to save some space. But for the price, you could buy a better DVD player and VCR separately. So it only makes sense for those who need to save space. David
